Who we are

african-wilddogs.com is an independent information site run by Gabriel. For any privacy question, please use our contact page.

What we collect

  • Contact form: when you send a message, we receive your name, email address, topic and message. We use them only to reply to you. We never add you to a mailing list.
  • Server logs: our hosting provider records standard data such as IP address, browser type and the pages you request. The host uses these logs for security and to keep the site working.
  • Analytics: we use Google Analytics to see which pages people read and how they find the site. It sets cookies and sends data such as your IP address, device, browser and the pages you view to Google.
  • Cookies: apart from Google Analytics, we do not use advertising or tracking cookies. WordPress sets its own cookies only for people who log in to the admin area.

How long we keep it

We keep contact messages for as long as we need them to answer you and follow up. After that, we delete them.

Who we share it with

We do not sell or rent your data. Our hosting and email providers handle it so the site and the contact form can work. Google handles analytics data under its own privacy policy.

Your rights

You can ask us to show, correct or delete the personal data we hold about you. Send your request through our contact page, and we will reply by email.

Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle data, we will update this page and the date at the top.
